First off, I realize that the two visitors from Google Inc. that spent time on our site were Google employees and not representative of the company as a whole. But the fact that one of them took the time to download our<\/span> Free Report: 21 Steps to Successful New Product Development (you can find it here)<\/span><\/a><\/strong>,<\/span> well it gave me the warm fuzzies. I mean, it\u2019s Google. They don\u2019t hire just anybody. They go for creative problem solvers.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We love creative problem solving at Holt Marketing!<\/strong><\/span> Systems Management may sound like a boring subject but when you find the best way to solve a problem for your clients, saving them time and money, it gives you a sense of accomplishment you can be proud of.<\/p>\n

While we often get hits on our website from some of the larger businesses around the globe (I\u2019m not going to name-drop here, I already feel a bit pretentious for bringing up Google but I have a reason for doing so), there aren\u2019t many who are hailed as big or as creative as Google. I have to admit, it was sort of like meeting a celebrity (not necessarily a movie star, just someone who resonates with you personally as <\/span>awe-inspiring)<\/span><\/strong>\u2026once you get over your initial shock, you start to assess how it affected you. Were they nice? Were they rude? Did they feel just as glad to meet you? If you want to impact people\u2019s lives, you should definitely think about the answers to these questions no matter who you meet or what your purpose is.<\/p>\n

I am a huge proponent of building relationships in business. It\u2019s the only way I know how to do it, because it\u2019s the only way I\u2019m comfortable with. The more someone gets to know you and like you, the more likely they are to come to you when they need help or tell you that you got it wrong rather than blasting you to anyone who will listen.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

That is why I am constantly reading, learning and redefining the best practices for myself, Holt Marketing and our clients. I want to make sure that I am offering something of value to ensure that they know I care. Why would anyone want to deal with me if I was pushing them to do something they are uncomfortable with? I don\u2019t know anyone who likes to be outside of their comfort zone. That is why I will always educate the people I meet with facts based on research, rather than pushing them into something they don\u2019t need. The decision is theirs, not mine, so they should be comfortable in making it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why should you care that Google visited our website?<\/strong><\/em> You may not, and that\u2019s okay. My purpose for sharing this information was to actually share the content that they read. Maybe it will be helpful to you, maybe it won\u2019t. Only you can decide. Either way, I hope you will share this blog with your friends and coworkers\u2026whether or not it is helpful to you, they may find some answers they are looking for.<\/p>\n
