Mindful Mobility

Yoga for Back Care (60 minutes)
This is a 60 minute practice marrying both dynamic movement and static, active stretches in the session. We will spend the first 30 minute moving in a more dynamic manner, with a focus on creating greater strength and tone in the posterior chain of the body. Props such as straps, resistance bands, and yoga blocks will be used in this session to support and challenge you. The second half of the practice will include more static, but active, stretches to create greater length and tone in the front body. We will be holding each pose for slightly longer, using this opportunity to build greater body awareness in specific regions that are being targeted.

This is an all round practice that will help you alleviate any excess tensions or discomfort associated with long hours of sitting due to having a desk-bound job or sedentary lifestyle.

Mobility Flow (60 minutes)
This is a 60 minute Vinyasa-based practice that will allow you to flow dynamically during the session. Incorporating poses and physical conditioning that both strengthen and lengthen the muscles, this is a great way to build strength and control in our range of motion. Each practice will have a specific anatomical focus, where we will explore different planes of movement and muscular activation in those regions.

This is open to all levels of practitioners, and especially for those who are looking for functional strength and mobility work to complement your other activities or as a form of recovery.
